More wins for Ash & Egidijus at Brands Hatch & a very good effort from Richard in ‘cash saving’ mode! Almost taking the fastest Team lap with a 1:16.491, but Ash managed to hold on with a 1:16.475. Things are beginning to hot up as Managers push for promotion or manage their cash balances as we pass through the half way mark in the season.
A much harder race for the Team than we’ve had for a while. A good 6th from Ash & a 5th from Egidijus were the only talking points. I think it would be fair to say the whole Team is looking forward to going to Brands Hatch hoping their luck will improve.
With a solid 2nd from Simon & another 2nd from Egidijus the Team picked up some steady points at Monaco.
But the story from this race has to be Ash’s stunning win from a grid position of 27th. Taking a gamble eventually paid off after looking like the race wouldn’t go his way. At one point over 4s per lap faster than anyone else in the race, closing down a gap of over 20s in 7 laps over the then leader.
Ash’s win from 27th places him in 38th in the ‘win from lowest position’ stats in GPRO history. The other Manager in the Team Dale being in 67th position in the same list.
Another win for Egidijus & a win for Mike saw good Team points in Spa. With Ash on the podium with a 3rd place. With Monaco the next race in unpredictable weather conditions could see some interesting strategies!
Good wins from Ash & Egidijus, with a nice 3rd for Mike & Richard scoring points with a solid 8th. With the Team still holding firm in the top 100 it’s proving to be another solid Season. With a few tough races coming up we’ll be trying to keep scoring the points but ensure our Managers reach their goals for the season.
A race littered by rain meant some difficult choices for the Team. But with Richard 8th, Mike 2nd, Ash 5th & Egidijus 5th we still managed to pick up some valuable individual & team points. The Team now moves on into France for the next race with high hopes!
Another good result for the Team saw Richard pick up 4th place, Ami 7th, Mike 3rd & wins for Ash & Egidijus.
The Team now moves onto Europe for the Polish GP with a forecast of tricky conditions in store.
I difficult Qualifying session for the Team left us fairly low on the starting grid, but we managed to pick up the pace as the Race went on.
Solid finishes from Ami in 4th, Mike in 5th, Ash in 4th gave us some needed points.
The Team in now preparing for Suzuka & things are already looking better than at this stage last race!
Well, the first race of the season has been run, with some impressive Team results. Richard in Pro 7 in the points with a 7th place, Ami with a 5th, Simon with an 8th, Mike with a strong 2nd despite a pit crew who were handing out Mr Whippy’s, Egidijus with a 9th just out of the points & Ash with a disappointing 2nd place after running a little short of fuel! Shortly after the race the Team announced the immediate replacement of the Ice Cream eating crew of Mike & the slap hazard crew of Ash with some young commiitted blood!
The Team now lying in 75th position from 589 Teams is determined to take these results, work hard & improve.
